About this spice
C5 is a Ceylon quill grade: the number refers to the diameter of the rolled quill, not to quality. C5 quills are slim and tightly rolled, which makes them easy to snap into a teapot or a saucepan.
Approximately five to six quills per pouch, each around 12 cm. Enough for a few weeks of daily tea, or a single large batch of mulled cider.
This is the size to buy first if you have only ever cooked with supermarket cassia and want to compare the two side by side.
